Ⅰ. Next Generation Program
NOV is looking for applicants who readily accept challenges, multi-task, and consistently deliver quality results. Candidates should have exceptional values, a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. Successful candidates will be passionate about what they do and open to change, continually challenging themselves and others to improve while working in a team environment.
Candidates must possess or be working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree and must have received their degree no more than one year prior to when the program begins. Any international experience or language skills are encouraged. NOV is an equal opportunity employer.
The Next Generation Program is a full-time program with 4 different career paths: Engineering, Business, Information Technology (IT) and Accounting. In China, the program will consist of 4 rotations, with each lasting 3 months, throughout the numerous divisions of NOV. The rotational schedule focuses on providing a well-rounded experience in such capacities as engineering, operations, manufacturing, and more. Those hired from universities in China will be based in Beijing, China with potential domestic or international travel opportunities.
Rotations are personally customized according to the employee’s background, skills and future career goals at NOV. The Next Generation Program will schedule the first three rotations, but the employee will choose his/her final rotation based on business need. Next Generation employees are given every day assignments, special projects, and responsibilities intended to challenge and develop their industry foundation. This sets the stage for their career at NOV while also having an immediate impact on the organization. At the conclusion of approximately twelve months in the program, participants are positioned into a permanent role in the company based on business need and personal preference.
II. Field Service Engineer
College or above and major in Electrical & Mechanical
Good command of both Chinese and English
Beijing, Shanghai and other locations in China
Goal of function
Provide technical service and support regarding installation, commissioning, toubleshooting, maintenance and overhaul (include Top Drive IDS-4A, IDS-8A, TDS-9/10/11SA, Draw works,
Power Swivel, Iron Roughneck etc.) to customers in China.
Provide before-sales technical support to sales department.
Translating and filling for relevant technical files.
Other relevant jobs entitled by field service manager.
Work in shop or travel to various sites across the nation to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and project
Assemble, install, test and calibrate equipment to ensure they are working corrently and conform with regulations and safety requirements
To provide technical consultation, call feedback and field service to customer
Insure workshop and equipment operation in accordance with interrelated industry and quality criteria
Keeping the field service supervisor up to date on workshop or site progress, problems, delays, etc.
Ensure all jobs can be implemented with the proper documentation which will cover quality record working process record and spare parts in and out registration
Perform commissioning/start-up activities in shop or rig site
Abide by company's confidential agreement on technical document and drawings
Understands NOV's products, capabilities and limitations in sufficient detail to be able to develop service offerings that meet customer needs
III. Service Technician
1.Education: Technical Diploma or equivalent.
2.Knowledge: Basic knowledge of DH product; Experience with operation of small tools; Have basic understanding of quality assurance.
3.Competencies: Has ability to read blueprint drawings; English reading ability is required; Initiative and team work spirits.
1.Utilize standard service procedure for the service and maintenance of drilling products.
2.Learning and ensure the proper use of workshop equipment.
3.Work with SQ team and following proper procedures and follow the process as per service manual.
4.Work with HSE personnel to implement of safety requirements.
5.Enforce the preventative maintenance schedule for all service equipment.
6.Prepare and check equipment for repairing by pressure washing, granding, blasting, painting etc in shop.
7.Fix the damaged DH products, provide timely and effective repair service for customer orders
8.Ensure paperwork is complete for all serviced tools
9.Ensure compliance of the company’s business Ethics policies.
10.Ensure compliance of the company’s quality, Health, Safety and environment policies.
Ⅳ. HR Rep Intern
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or
- Knowledge: Solid computer skills specifically in WORD and EXCEL;
- Rich knowledge of PRC HR policies and practicesincluding local government legislation;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Recruitment - Fill vacant position as per business unit’s request. Including monitor requisition approval process,resume screening, interview arrangement,issue offer letter.
- Enrollment - Support on enrollment process
- Manage Payroll and Benefits administration.
- Ensure the dissemination, implementation, interpretation, governance and
maintenance of appropriate HR policies, processes and practices.
- Provide support and counsel to management on performance management and employee
- Complete termination administrative procedures;
- In charge of HR reports as per request for the company and labor authorities.
- Support the administration of training program.
- Expatriates management including LOI, work permit, residence permit, etc.
- Perform other work related task as assigned
